DAY 9: Relax & Recharge
Anytime a piece of technology is giving us problems, what’s the first thing we do? We turn it off, and then turn it back on. It’s amazing the variety of issues that this simple trick can solve. Mindfulness teaches us that the same idea can apply to our minds as well. If we’re in some kind of emotional funk, or if the solution to a problem eludes us, we can learn how to unplug our mind, even for just a minute, to recharge, refresh and allow issues to disappear as we plug back in.

Writing prompt for the day is, what does recharge mean to you? How do you envision your body, mind and soul recharging?
It’s Day 9 of the 21 Day Mindfulness Meditation Challenge. Set your timer for 9 minutes and BEGIN with your meditation session, focus on your breath and your intention for the day. To begin, take 5 deep cleansing breaths and then just BREATHE in a natural rhythm. Today take your moments to focus on the RECHARGE of your mind, body and spirit and manifesting a sense of refreshing throughout your day.
