Day 3 - 21 Day Meditation Challenge

DAY 3: Noting Without Identifying When you pause and recognize thoughts as just thoughts, emotions as just emotions, and sensations as bodily experiences, you develop a great sense of connection.

Our word for the day is CONNECT

Today's journal writing prompt is, what does the word connect mean to you? What comes to mind when you think about your connection to the universe? It’s Day 3 of the 21 Day Mindfulness Meditation Challenge. Set your timer and BEGIN with your 5-minute meditation session and when doing so, focus on connecting. To begin take 5 deep cleansing breaths and then just breathe in a natural rhythm. Today take your moments to CONNECT with your breath and begin to bring more focus by counting on your in breaths. Try to focus solely on your breath and count each in breath until you get to 10. You can also simply sit for 5 minutes in silence or if you need assistance, click on the link for a short meditation session from our podcast.

See if you can take this awareness of connection into your day. When meditation is completed, thank yourself with the following affirmation, " I am deeply connected to my life. I am deeply engaged in each moment as it comes to me. I am present and aware.” Namaste! You have completed Day 3 in your journey.
