DAY 18: Refreshment & Peace

You don’t have to force yourself to stop thinking. Thoughts will never disappear; you need to let them come and go. It’s about focusing on the present and not worrying about the past and future. You don’t need to change anything, thoughts, emotions, feelings, just accept them. Our mind is like a clear sky, but there are clouds from time to time, silent meditation helps get back the clarity we want.

Our word for the day is SILENCE

Our writing prompt for the day is, when you’re out in nature, on the meditation cushion, or immersed in prayer, what do you hear? What messages have come through recently in your silence?

It’s Day 18 of the 21 Day Mindfulness Meditation Challenge. Set your timer for 18 minutes and BEGIN with your meditation session, focus on your breath and your intention for the day. To begin, take 5 deep cleansing breaths and then just BREATHE in a natural rhythm. Today take your moments to focus on SILENCE and clearing your heart and mind in all that you do. Be clear in your mind, body and spirit, manifesting a sense of cultivating positive, clear loving focus that you can direct and manage throughout your day.
