DAY 1: FOCUS ON YOUR BREATH
It’s time for your first day of meditation!
Our word for the day is BEGIN!!!
For your first day of the 21 Day Meditation Challenge, BEGIN with 5 min meditation session and when doing so, focus on your breath. To begin take 5 deep cleansing breaths and then just breathe in a natural rhythm. Breath is the closest link we have with the present moment hence focusing on breathing will allow you to bring your mind and body together. In an unforced, natural rhythm, allow your breath to flow in and out, easily and effortlessly. You can sit with calming music or simply with nothing at all. Set your timer for 5 minutes. Sit for those few moments, let yourself relax and begin to tolerate all that's happening within you and around you and if you start to wander just bring yourself back to the center of focus of your breath. When your 5 minutes are up thank yourself with the following affirmation, "I am excited to BEGIN my journey of self-transformation. Namaste! You have completed Day 1 in your journey. Make it a beautiful day!
